The Emerson at Village Centre enjoys strong sales in Mount Prospect

THE SHOPS AT THE EMERSON NOW OPEN

The Emerson at Village Centre, Norwood Builders’ community of 52 upscale condominiums and duplexes located in downtown Mount Prospect, is welcoming spring with strong sales and newly opened on-site retail shops. Already 60% sold, this luxury building is becoming the hub of the vibrant Downtown Mount Prospect district.

“The Emerson is proving to be a strong attraction to shoppers in the market for new construction condominiums in a desirable downtown suburban setting—one within walking distance of the train, the library, favorite shops and restaurants,” said Bruce Adreani, president of Norwood Builders.

Newly opened retailers includes Vino 100, a fine wine store that opened last fall, Elements Diet and Fitness that made its debut in January, and a third location for Aqua Nail which opened this spring. All are located within The Shops at The Emerson.  The brand new Canta Napoli Pizzeria, just opened this winter and includes an outdoor cafe.

“The community’s convenient proximity is one of The Emerson’s best loved features by its residents,” Adreani added. “Aside from the new retailers, homeowners can visit Caribou Coffee, Oberweis Dairy, TCF Bank, LePeep Restaurant, European Jewelers, Halo Hair Salon and Unique Cleaners—all tenants at The Shops at Village Centre, less than one block away.”

“What’s even better is the Mount Prospect Metra train station is within a short walk, providing speedy access to downtown Chicago for commuters,” he said.

The village parking deck and library is steps away. Plus, there are area swimming pools, tennis courts, golf courses and several parks within Mount Prospect for residents to enjoy.

The Emerson, set on the corner of Emerson Street and Busse Avenue, is designed in a contemporary prairie-style brick exterior and appealing curvilinear architecture on the top floor.

“This distinctive design allows for some plans to have large outdoor terraces and creative interior plan design that make these homes truly unique,” said Adreani. “Once an Emerson buyer customizes their home with cabinetry, fixtures, and flooring, they can be sure that they have invested in a piece of architectural greatness.”

Buyers can select from 23 distinctive condominium designs, each providing one, one-plus-den, two, or three bedrooms, one to two-and-a-half baths, balcony and/or terrace (per plan), and 886 to 1,606 square feet. Four two-story duplex style residences are also available in three different designs ranging from 1,250 to 1,700 square feet, each including two bedrooms, one-and-a-half to two-and-a-half baths, oversized balcony and/or terrace.
